Our 2020 Showcase

The Fringe of Colour 2020 Showcase is taking place throughout June 2021, running from 15th - 30th June. We will be re-screening the films commissioned by Fringe of Colour in 2020 and releasing podcast episodes from our brand new Before the Applause series.

This Sh*t Is For Us -

Part 2

Throughout August, Fringe of Colour are hosting live round-table conversations as part of a series titled This Sh*t Is For Us. These talks feature creators and participants of community-oriented spaces that have radical approaches to expression, care and solidarity at their core.

This event will take place on Saturday 22nd August from 5 - 6.30 pm BST and will feature Hannah Lavery, Florence Kyohangirwe, Campbell X and Tomiwa Folorunso.

Live Twitter Q&A

To keep the conversation going, the Fringe of Colour team will be doing a live Twitter Q&A on Saturday (8 August) from 12 - 1pm BST to bring in Week 2.

A Wee Writing Workout

Join us on Saturday 15th August from 11am - 12pm BST for a free writing workshop with poet and performer Hannah Lavery.

You will be using prompts and poems to start your own writing, with an emphasis on poetry however you don't need to be a poet to take part.

This workshop is for Black and Brown people/People of Colour only, and spaces are limited.

There are no more spaces available for this workshop.

A Night of Live Stand-Up

In partnership with Fringe of Colour, Comedy Pops presents a special night featuring a global roster of comics of colour!

On Friday 21st August from 8pm (BST) Shamiso Mushambi will be hosting an hour's worth of live comedy, featuring some of the World's best and brightest up coming stand ups.

They will be delivering material via Zoom and all you need to enjoy this is a reliable internet connection and a willingness to laugh.
