Anahit Behrooz
Anahit Behrooz is a writer, editor and critic based in Edinburgh. She is the author of BFFs: The Radical Potential of Female Friendship and works as Books Editor and Events Editor at The Skinny. Her writing has appeared in i-D, AnOther Magazine, Little White Lies, and gal-dem among others.
Editor
Jess Brough
Jess Brough is a writer of science fiction and poetry. Their fiction can be found in Extra Teeth, The Best of British Fantasy 2019 and seed head, an anthology of new writing from The Future is Back series led by Olumide Popoola. Their poetry and non-fiction can be found in The Colour of Madness (Updated Edition), The Bi-Bible: New Testimonials, and at gal-dem, The Skinny, Fringe of Colour and The Glasgow Film Festival. They are working on their first novel.
Founder & Editor
Xuanlin Tham (they/them) is a writer, author, and curator based in Edinburgh. Their book Revolutionary Desires: The Political Power of the Sex Scene was published in 2025, and explores the sex scene as a resource of erotic energy able to interrupt capitalistic flows and its tributary violences. Xuanlin programmes at Take One Action, an arts organisation harnessing the transformative power of film and storytelling for social and environmental justice in Scotland and beyond. Their writing on film and culture has been published in e–flux, Little White Lies, A Rabbit’s Foot, AnOther Magazine, and British GQ, among others.
