Need help knowing which Pass to choose? We’ve put together some suggestions below.
-
The Concession Passes are for anyone who would like to attend the festival but would find contributing the cost of a Standard Pass difficult – including students, unemployed people, people on low or variable wages, elderly people, or anyone who just needs a little extra help.
-
We want to ensure that this festival does not outprice our audiences, either through high accumulating costs from having to pay for each event separately, or prices for full-festival Passes that go through the roof. We have set the prices for our online and in-person Standard Passes by taking into consideration the cost of living crisis and our own festival costs, as well as trying to avoid the same costly fees expected from other arts festivals.
The Standard Passes are for people who can afford to make a higher contribution to the festival than that which is possible with our Concessions options.
-
For anyone looking to make a larger contribution to the festival beyond what is possible with a Concession or Standard Pass, we have provided the opportunity to Pay-It-Forward for another audience member. This means you would be covering the cost of a Pass for yourself and for someone who is unable to purchase a Pass for the festival.
-
Our Organisation Pass options are for organisations and companies who would like to purchase a Pass for their team. This can be achieved by sharing the log-in information of a single Organisation account, made upon purchasing one of these Pass types. Organisation Passes provide access to the online programme only.
Organisation Passes are tiered depending on the type of organisation or company. We have some suggestions for how you might decide which option would be most appropriate:
£50 Organisation Pass - for small organisations with roughly 5 staff members.
£100 Organisation Pass - for medium-sized organisations with roughly 10 staff members.
£200 Organisation Pass - for large organisations with roughly 10 - 30 staff members.
£500 Organisation Pass - for very large organisations with over 30 staff members.
-
Our free Passes are available to any People of Colour who need them, with “need” being entirely at each individual’s discretion. We will not ask you to justify why you are requesting a free Pass.
To access the festival with a free Pass, you must email us at accounts@fringeofcolour.co.uk so that we can set you up with an account. Once you are all set up, you will be able to access both the online and in-person festival.
Please be aware that the box office will try to get these arranged as soon as requests are made, however we may require up to 12 hours to set up new free Passes.
I am disabled and will be attending with a carer/support worker. Will they need to purchase a Pass to accompany me?
No, carers and support workers for our disabled audiences can attend the festival with a Free Pass. Simply email us at accounts@fringeofcolour.co.uk and we will set that up for them.
What is an Early-Bird Pass?
Early-Birds will have access to exclusive pre-festival content this spring and will be able to stay up-to-date with festival announcements through our newsletter. They will not have to obtain another Pass later on when the festival starts - one Pass lasts from now until the festival ends.
So if you’re thinking of coming along to Fringe of Colour Films 2023, you might as well sign up now to get the full festival experience!
I'm not UK-based, can I still access the festival?
Yes! Online Passes provide access to Fringe of Colour Films for viewers anywhere in the world. The full programme will be available regardless of your location, as none of the productions in the programme will be geo-locked for the festival. If you are having any difficulties creating an account due to your location or card type, send our Technical Director an email at jess@fringeofcolour.co.uk.
